Powerful videos. I was thinking of how going away to school is not an unusual occurrence but with the history of what has happened with Indian residential schools, there’s a history of pain and trauma that makes it worse. And this on top of the racism felt by the indigenous school children in other communities. The second video was interesting and sad as I reflect on how hard the Canadian government has fought to not act justly toward the indigenous communities and children.
